Vegan Bombon Sin Gluten is a fully vegan and gluten-free patisserie-café in central Alicante, open since 2016. Everything is made in its own bakery, certified gluten-free by the Valencian coeliac association ACECOVA, using rice and corn flours among others. The range covers cakes (red velvet, carrot cake, cheesecake and more), croissants, doughnuts, cinnamon rolls and cookies, as well as savoury empanadas, pizzas, plant-based kebab and burgers. Visitors praise the cinnamon rolls, the chocolate cakes and the coffee, and according to one review there is a small outdoor seating area plus an air-conditioned room inside. The bakery won awards in Easter mona and coca competitions in 2024 and 2025.
Guests most often recommend the cinnamon rolls and the empanadillas, and also praise the chocolate cakes. Gluten-free bakes are best eaten fresh: one review reports mould on an item kept until the next day.
