Tablao Flamenco El Mentidero is a flamenco venue in Alicante's marina, on the upper floor of a building on the Muelle de Levante, close to the Explanada. The live shows combine the three pillars of flamenco – song (cante), guitar and dance (baile) – in an intimate room with atmospheric lighting. You can book the show on its own, dinner with the show or a premium option, with dinner based on a tapas menu; gluten-free options need to be requested in advance. Visitors praise the passion of the performers, the live singers with guitar accompaniment and the attentive staff. According to reviews the food is tasty, although the show is the main attraction.
