Pelican is a fusion restaurant by Playa de San Juan in Alicante, combining flavours from around the world with Japanese touches. The menu includes nigiri, uramaki and other sushi rolls, ceviche, gyozas, tempura prawns, tuna tartare, oysters, as well as torrezno and wagyu. The chef is Pablo Berenguer Solbes, and according to reviews the dishes are carefully prepared and nicely presented. The venue has a modern interior, a terrace and a cocktail bar — the cocktails are among the things guests praise most. It belongs to Grupo Concerto, and later in the evening, with a DJ, the restaurant takes on a nightlife atmosphere.
