One of Alicante's largest city parks, by the sea on Avenida de Elche, with more than 7,000 palms, ponds and playgrounds. It opened in 1997 on the site of an old palm grove that had been damaged from the late 19th century onwards by the railway, the port and industry. An artificial stream fed with water pumped from the sea runs through it, and there is a boating lake, a waterfall, wooden paths and footbridges. Children have swings, trampolines, musical and interactive play equipment and a pump track for bikes, skates and skateboards, while families can use picnic areas with pergolas. Reviews mention the waterfall, the sports pitches and courts, and one visitor points out the large car park next to the park.
Includes adapted equipment for children with disabilities; picnic areas on site.
