Mercadillo de Gran Alacant is a weekly street market in Gran Alacant, a residential area belonging to the municipality of Santa Pola. Since August 2023 it has been held next to the Aldi and Gabe Market supermarkets; it previously stood on Avenida de Escandinavia, whose plot was taken over by the modules of a temporary secondary school. According to the town council there are almost 100 stalls selling food, shoes, clothes, household goods and decorations. Visitors also mention fruit and vegetables, plants, souvenirs, seafood and even household appliances. One reviewer describes it as not the biggest market, but one where you can find everything you need.
According to one review there is a churros stall, and in season food trucks come with grilled chicken and freshly squeezed orange juice.
