Font del Llop Golf Resort is an 18-hole, par-72 golf course in Monforte del Cid, inland from Alicante, opened in 2010. It was designed by Blake Stirling and Marco Martín, combining American design with Scottish-style shaping, and has five tees on every hole. The undulating fairways follow the hills of the valley, and a small stream links five lakes, surrounded by vineyards, almond trees and old olive trees. Facilities include a driving range, a short-game area with a bunker and a putting green, a restaurant with a terrace, and a golf academy for adults and children. In reviews, golfers mention tight fairways and hilly terrain, and one describes greens that are hard to read and a tougher, hillier front nine.
