Club Surf El Moreno is a surf and paddle-surf school on Playa de San Juan in Alicante, with more than 30 years of experience. It was founded by José “El Moreno”, who started surfing at 16. The school runs group and private lessons in surfing, SUP and surfskate for all levels and ages, plus 2-hour guided SUP trips around Playa de San Juan or along Cabo de las Huertas. In summer it runs the Summer Surf Kids Club for children and teenagers aged 4 to 17, and it also caters for groups, companies, schools and stag and hen parties. In reviews, visitors most often praise the instructors’ patience and the trips along the coves.
According to reviews, the SUP trips along the coves, including at sunset, are especially popular. No experience is needed for the trips, but the school requires you to be able to swim.
